World Environment Day Programme Report
St. Monica English Medium School observed World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, with a meaningful and engaging celebration aimed at spreading awareness about environmental protection.
The programme was efficiently compered by Thushara from Class 10. A thought-provoking skit was presented by the students of Grade 7, highlighting the need for environmental care and sustainable living. This was followed by a beautiful song by the school choir that added to the message of harmony with nature.
The chief guest, Mr. Raju Kidoor, a respected environmentalist and educator, was introduced by Dhanvi from Class 9. He was felicitated by our school manager, Rev. Fr. Melwyn Dsouza, and vice principal, Rev. Fr. Suraj Joseph Lobo.
Mr. Kidoor conducted an interactive session with the students, where he shared valuable insights on environmental conservation and engaged them in thoughtful discussions and activities. The session was both educational and inspiring.
The school manager, Rev. Fr. Melwyn Dsouza, shared a brief but impactful message, encouraging students to be responsible stewards of nature.
The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks and the school anthem, leaving everyone motivated to take greener steps in their daily lives.
